The rantings of a fellow tribesman

Sometimes you wonder why people like this were allowed in the tribe called Christians. *sigh*

  1. Josh, this was the funniest YouTube clip I've viewed this year! But while it is hilarious it is also depressingly sad. By the looks of the guy he is not much younger than I am, and it is discouraging to see young men in the ministry preaching that men should pee standing up because "It's in the Bible". I wonder what he thinks of men in the Navy?!

  2. Oddly enough, the KJV only mentions men who pee standing up in the context of determining whom the Lord is going to kill.

It is strange that this young preacher would view a trait of those receiving God's wrath as being worthy of modeling.

  3. It only seems strange to you because you're actually reading and interpreting the Bible. Based on the video that is not a high priority for this guy. Is he a pastor or an "evangelist"? I almost, and I'm not exaggerating, I almost fell out of my chair when he said, "That's what's wrong with this country, the men don't..."

I was so relieved when he affirmed his intention to be a "man" while visiting his
    wife's Fatherland.

Of course, I'm not sure what saddened me most: his total disrespect for God's Word, or the amazing fact that someone said "Amen!"

  4. But watch this video:

He is reading the Bible, for sure. But somehow he is missing the message.

  5. That is impressive. I could tell from the YouTube clip that he knew the words of the Bible, but I could also tell that he was clueless as to the meaning. He seems like a very articulate man. I followed a few links to his church's website, and his wife is a blogger!
