Some of you have noticed my new Rated R for Reformed icon (see the far bottom of this blog). It was a lot of fun to make and thanks for the many e-mails. As it happens, I just did a Google search on the phrase and came across a really cool blog that sells "Rated R for Reformed" T-Shirts. The design is similar to mine (theirs is probably better), and these T-shirts would make really cool Christmas presents.
By the way, I wear an XL.
I have the old skool Rated R for Reformed t-shirt, pretty decent quality and it draws a lot of attention. I just need the Monergism Five Solas zip hoodie to complete my "Reformed schlock" collection.
ReplyDeleteAbout a year and a half ago a prisoner went ballistic during our bible study when I said that the people of God are the true Israel - without regard to national citizenship. He started yelling that I was advocating "replacement theology" (this was when we were studying "Chosen By God" by Sproul) and he left that night and I didn't see him until he showed up for the Keryx weekend last month. Near the end of the weekend he comes up to me and tells me he's going to come back to the bible study "even with all that Calvinism you keep giving us." I said, "Good, ________ (name). Maybe I'll wear a shirt that says 'Have you hugged a Calvinist today'? (We are allowed to embrace prisoners of the same gender with a brotherly hug) How would you like that?" He laughed and said, "Yeah, I'd even do that. I'd hug a Calvinist."
