About Me

By my own rebellion, I am a prideful sinner. By His wonderful grace, I am forgiven. Because of His great love, I am ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ (in Christ Jesus), and will spend eternity in His Kingdom. And because of His continued blessings, I married to a beautiful native of India, have 3 adorable children, and serve in full time ministry.

By God's grace I have served as a Discipleship Pastor and Senior Pastor at churches in Michigan and Ohio, and previously served in full time counseling ministry (focusing on addictions and marriage & family issues).

Amy (real name Vanlalhmachhuani) is from Mizo tribe of Northeast India, and is a graduate of Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music and Cornerstone University.  She is an exceptionally gifted bible teacher and one-on-one discipler. Our oldest two children (Caleb and Remi) attend Calvin College and our son Peter is tearing his way through High School at a lightning pace.

As for me, I'm a graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary (M.Div) and Cornerstone University (B.A., M.A. Counseling) and a licensed professional counselor (in Michigan).  I simply love to read and study God's Word. Other areas of reading interest include the Puritans, Early Church fathers, church history, Dutch Reformation theology, hermeneutics, philosophy, and systematic theology. If the book has something to do with Jonathan Edwards, Herman Bavinck, John Calvin, or Martin Luther than it is an added bonus.
