I entered church ministry several years ago, first serving as an associate pastor in my home church where I attended for 12 years (Forest Hills Bible Chapel in Grand Rapids, Michigan). God then called Amy and I to one of the most wonderful congregations in the world (Indian River Baptist Church in Northern Michigan), where I served as pastor for almost 4 years. In May 2010, in His great mercy and love, God has lead me to become the senior pastor over a precious assembly of believers in Ohio.
Amy (real name Vanlalhmachhuani) is from Mizo tribe of Northeast India, and is a graduate of Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music and Cornerstone University. She is an exceptionally gifted bible teacher and one-on-one discipler. Our three children (Caleb, Remi, and Peter) are little screwballs who are an absolute delight to be around.
As for me, I'm a graduate of Grand Rapids Theological Seminary (M.Div) and Cornerstone University (B.A., M.A. Counseling) and a licensed professional counselor (in Michigan). I simply love to read and study God's Word. Other areas of reading interest include the Puritans, Early Church fathers, church history, Dutch Reformation theology, hermeneutics, philosophy, and systematic theology. If the book has something to do with Jonathan Edwards, Herman Bavinck, John Calvin, or Martin Luther than it is an added bonus.
